Jacked Factory Nitrosurge claims to improve your energy, strength, focus, endurance, and pump during the workout. We need to look closely at each ingredient to know what are the benefits and side effects of this pre workout.

Nitrosurge Pre Workout Ingredients
The serving size of one scoop is 9 grams and one scoop contains zero sugar and zero carbohydrates, but there is no information about calories.
Nitrosurge contains 3 grams of L-Citrulline, 1.6 grams of Beta-alanine, 1.25 grams of Betaine Anhydrous and 180 milligrams of Caffeine Anhydrous. I will explain the benefits of all these ingredients below in my next heading.
Just for comparison, one cup of coffee has around 80 to 100 milligrams of caffeine, so 180 milligrams of caffeine is equal to 2 cups of coffee.
Then, it has 90 milligrams of L-Theanine, 50 milligrams of Theobromine, 25 milligrams of AstraGin™ and 25 milligrams of Hordenine HCI.
Lastly, there is “Other ingredients” which includes Citric Acid, Pineapple Fruit Powder, Silicon Dioxide, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Calcium Silicate, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Fruit and Vegetable Juice.

It doesn’t contain too many ingredients, but it does have all the key ingredients which you expect in a good pre workout. The first ingredient it contains is L-Citrulline which is a non-essential amino acid. The recommended dosage of l-citrulline is 4 to 6 grams.
When citrulline enters the body, the body converts it into L-Arginine that may help to boost Nitric Oxide. This increase in nitric oxide may help to dilate your blood vessels which will allow more blood to be transported to your muscles (1, 2). More blood will give you a better muscle pump.
There are scientifically proven studies that have shown that consuming l-citrulline increases more arginine levels in the body than consuming arginine (3).
The next ingredient is Beta-Alanine, which produces more Carnosine that will reduce lactic acid build-up in your body, leading to improving your athletic performance by reducing fatigue and increasing endurance during the workout (4). It is also popular for causing a tingling sensation over your skin, though it is harmless.
Then, it has Betaine Anhydrous which is not a common ingredient in a pre workout, but it may help to increase power output (5).
Then, it has Caffeine Anhydrous, which is the most used caffeine type in the supplements that helps you to stay alert and focused and it reduces your fatigue. The amount of caffeine is 180 milligrams, which is quite a normal and average amount that you will find in pre workouts.
It has L-Theanine which is an amino acid most commonly found in tea leaves. Taking L-Theanine with caffeine seems to reduce the possible side effects of caffeine like jitters, rapid heartbeat, and insomnia.
Then, it has Theobrime which has a similar effect to caffeine, but unlike caffeine, it doesn’t affect your body through central nervous system stimulation. It provides energy and also increases nitric oxide in the body which ultimately leads to a better muscle pump.
It has AstraGin, which helps in the absorption of a wide range of nutrients like creatine or omega 3 and thereby promoting a healthy gut. The recommended dosage is 250 milligrams, so you cannot be sure if 25 milligrams of AstraGin will have any positive effects or not.
Then, there is Hordenine, which is a nootropic that means this might stimulate the central nervous system. It is commonly used in weight loss supplements to help in weight loss, but there is currently no evidence exist which supports its usage as nutritional supplementation (6).

In this Nitrosurge pre workout review, I’m going to tell you the possible side effects of Nitrosurge pre workout. I have personally never experienced any side effects while consuming Nitrosurge except a tingling sensation over my skin which is quite common in a pre workout.
When you consume this pre workout you might experience a tingling sensation, insomnia, upset stomach, headache, jitters or rapid heartbeat. Few of these side effects are quite normal in a pre workout, but few are more serious for which you need to stop taking it immediately and consult your Doctor.
One thing I would suggest is that do not consume it within 4 hours of bedtime and try to start this pre workout with half a scoop only.

How to take Nitrosurge Pre Workout
Take one scoop of Nitrosurge with 8-10 ounces of cold water 25-30 minutes before hitting the gym.
If you are a regular or experienced pre workout drinker then you can take up to 2 scoops of Nitrosurge with 12-20 ounces of cold water before working out.
But, if you are taking pre workout for the first time then I would recommend you not to directly jump to one scoop, start it by just taking half a scoop to assess the tolerance level and once the tolerance has been assessed then you can increase the quantity gradually.
